OKO OKO
Hailing from the Tyne Valley and surrounding Northumberland, Oko Oko craft music drawn from both soil and stars. At the heart of the project are songwriters James and Lindsay Magill, often joined by a revolving ensemble of musical kin.
After debuting their songs in close harmony as a duo at Langley Tracks last year, Oko Oko return transformed—now a full-band force, blending acid-tinged guitars with a flicker of country warmth.

String laden acoustic trio featuring John Nellist, Bernard Wright and Ben Harrison. Expect homespun, soulful melodies, delivered with indelible passion with songs of political frustration, hurt and love of everyday life.

The Generous Nest is the kaleidoscopic songwriting project of North East musician and producer Arlo Lapworth. Also behind the desk on Oko Oko’s latest recordings, Arlo brings years of experience and a deep love of music into a rich blend of styles, weaving memorable melodies with vivid, story-driven lyrics. Joined by Tom Lapworth on slide and lead guitar.
