From the M27
Leave the M27 at junction 5, take exit from the motorway roundabout signposted A335 Southampton. The road is called 'Thomas Lewis Way', and head towards Southampton City Centre. Go through the first lights, fork left at the second lights, signposted City Centre & Portswood (staying on the A335 Thomas Lewis Way). You pass a Shell petrol station on your rightâ€"hand side, then turn right at the next lights (3rd from Motorway) just before Machine Mart, then turn immediate left at the next lights (4th from Motorway) opposite B&Q. You are now on Portswood Road, The Brook is about 200 yards down this road on the left hand side.
Here is a local street map from www.multimap.com ;;
We would advise that you park to the rear of the venue on the Belgrave Industrial Estate making sure not to block any part of the road, blocked by no-parking-cones, as lorries come and go at any time of day or night. If you block the lorry park, the show may be interrupted, and you will feel embarrassed!
As with all town parking, make sure that you conceal any valuables. There should be more street parking on Portswood Road, or on the side roads.
From Southampton Central or Southampton Parkway stations: Either get a connection to the local stations or exit the station, jump in a taxi and say \"The Brook, Portswood Road please!\"
First Group bus numbers 6& 7 (new numbers - March 2006) stop outside The Brook, The stop is called \"Mayfield Road\". Solent Blue Line bus number Bluestar 2 also stops outside The Brook and the university bus service Uni Link - U6 also stops here.
The Brook is an eighteen plus venue, although children of fourteen and upwards can come to shows if accompanied by an adult over the age of twenty one.
No more than two fourteen plus per adult.
Please note that on the advice of Southampton Police - they only accept Passports or Photo Driving Licences as acceptable proof of age to buy alcohol. If you are not sure - phone them before purchasing your tickets.
Under 16's MUST be off the premises by 12 Midnight.
If you are bringing under 18's with you, we accept any form of I.D. for them.

The Brook have introduced a No Smoking policy downstairs in the venue. This has been remarkable popular. We have had a couple of complaints but mostly praise. If you want a quick fag, all you need to do is nip in to the foyer, or nip upstairs for a couple of minutes.
