Now in its 14th year, the Award winning Independent BLOODSTOCK festival takes place from 7th - 10th August 2014 at the picturesque grounds of Catton Park in Derbyshire.
All 3 headliners are already announced for the UK’s biggest metal event on UK soil. Friday’s headliner New Orleans Sludgemeisters DOWN are making a UK exclusive appearance in 2014, revered Black metal innovators EMPEROR are to headline Saturday night and thrash icons MEGADETH will be closing the festival proceedings on the Sunday evening in celebration of their 20th Anniversary of “Youthanasia”.
Bloodstock has captured the hearts and minds of metal fans from around the globe over the last 13 years. Being a truly independent metal festival run by metal fans for metal fans, the award winning festival has so much to offer any self-respecting metal head and is a must do in your 2014 festival calendar.
As well as over 100 bands across 4 stages, Bloodstock has the hugely popular Serpents Lair festival Bar serving over 90 real ales from all corners of the UK, late night entertainment into the early hours after the main stage closes, international metal market, Metal Hammer sponsored signing tent to meet the bands personally, full combat medieval tournament and so much more to be announced.
